The Rising Star Awards have taken place in South Africa for the past 2 years in partnership with the Human Capital Institute (www.humancapitalinstitute.org.za) and aim to recognise talent between the ages of 28 and 40 within the workplace. After an amazing South African experience, we are taking the programme to Kenya, where the highlight will be a Glamorous Gala Dinner in May 2014 in Nairobi. There are no national awards in the country looking at this specific age group, where peers are competing with peers on a level playing field and we believe we can, with the help of selected foundation partners, really work with these young people to create a formative network of talent - the class of 2014 as has been created successfully in SA.
